Electrical Project Manager (Data Centres / Critical Facilities)
London | Site Based | Permanent | Up to £85,000 DOE + Bonus & Excellent Benefits
 
An established Principal Contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver complex construction projects across London, with a particular focus on Data Centres and Critical Facilities.

The Role
You'll take full ownership of projects from estimating handover through to final completion, ensuring safe, commercially successful and on-time delivery. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll lead projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
 
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion.
Lead project teams, including Assistant Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
Oversee programme delivery, procurement, commercial performance and project governance.
Chair project meetings and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Drive project performance, managing risks, variations, cost control and programme milestones.
Coordinate design reviews, technical submissions and commissioning activities.
Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance across all projects.
Support procurement strategies and work closely with commercial teams to protect project margins.
Deliver successful project handovers, including QA documentation, O&M manuals and client sign-off. About You
 
We're looking for someone with:

Significant experience as a Project Manager within construction or engineering.
Previous Data Centre or Critical Facilities project experience (essential).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Excellent commercial awareness and programme management capability.
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction best practice. Essential Requirements

Electrical qualifications
SMSTS
CSCS Managers Card
NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management (or equivalent)
Experience delivering Data Centre or Critical Facilities projects Desirable

Mechanical knowledge
