About the Role
This position is for an Electrical Project Manager within our Critical Services Department, working on a Data Centre project based in London. You will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager of one of our world-renowned Data Centre clients, carrying out critical fit-out works within the campus.

Salary: Negotiable
Generally, the above hours will be flexible in line with the needs of the business. We operate a fair working policy, but if any extended overtime is worked by agreement with your line manager, then overtime payment will be applicable.
Key Requirements

In-depth knowledge and expertise with Electrical Infrastructure and Data Centre Fit-Out packages.
*
Proven track record of working for customer-facing contractors.
*
Comprehensive awareness of Health & Safety, CDM, and environmental legislation and good practice.
*
Good knowledge of IT systems (Planning software, SharePoint, MS Office).
*
Strong communication skills to maintain and develop relationships.
*
Excellent project planning, time management, and leadership skills.
*
Experience running effective and productive meetings with subcontractors.
*
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Responsibilities
*
Direct timely, quality, and cost-efficient setup for all assigned projects, ensuring that meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset in line with company best practice.
*
Ensure project setup is linked to close-out by establishing quality processes, problem resolution, and snagging with a focus on alignment of cost, scope, and timescale from start to finish.
*
Manage and take an active part in the monthly department project reporting process, ensuring accurate and reliable information is provided to your line manager.
*
Identify and address potential problem areas through proactive reporting and feedback, ensuring client reporting is accurate and appropriate.
*
Implement, manage, and monitor programmes, change processes, and financial reporting for assigned projects to ensure effective commercial and relationship management.
*
Ensure all method statements and risk assessments are robust, up to date, and understood by the project team.
*
Coordinate the works of the site team, including subcontractors, trades, and external supply chain partners.
*
Prepare weekly site condition and safety reports and act swiftly on any issues identified.
*
Ensure contract terms are fully understood and adhered to.
*
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records in line with company and legislative requirements.
*
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
*
Identify and act on opportunities to reduce costs or add value to the project.
*
Escalate potential issues promptly and appropriately.
*
Maintain high site standards throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Ensure all personnel on site have the correct competence and training for their roles.
*
Chair and minute meetings with clients, internal departments, and subcontractors, and participate in meetings chaired by others as required.
