Position Overview
We're seeking a seasoned Project Manager with proven experience leading large-scale data center construction projects. This role demands a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You'll be responsible for overseeing all phases of electrical construction-from preconstruction planning to final commissioning-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction for hyperscale and enterprise-level data centers
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams to define scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and quality benchmarks
- Drive project documentation, reporting, and change management
- Mentor and guide field teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale electrical projects, with at least 3 years in data center construction
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, mission-critical infrastructure, and commissioning processes
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local building codes
- Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar budgets and complex schedules
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
