About the Company
We’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery for one of our clients in a critical infrastructure data centre environment. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong technical knowledge, clear communication, and excellent organisational skills.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend the role and become a full-time member of the Apex Core team. Responsibilities
- Manage electrical works and associated M&E packages in a live data centre.
- Oversee programme, risk, and documentation to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate stakeholders and lead meetings with clarity and confidence.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and site safety standards.
- Drive quality assurance, testing, and commissioning readiness.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of critical electrical and mechanical backup systems (UPS, generators, LV/MV switchgear).
- Electrical engineering qualification
- SMSTS or NVQ Level 6/7 in construction management
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in construction management, programme control, and risk management.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts (advantageous).
- Well-versed in CDM regulations
