About the Company

We’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery for one of our clients in a critical infrastructure data centre environment. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong technical knowledge, clear communication, and excellent organisational skills.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend the role and become a full-time member of the Apex Core team. Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical works and associated M&E packages in a live data centre.
  • Oversee programme, risk, and documentation to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and lead meetings with clarity and confidence.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and site safety standards.
  • Drive quality assurance, testing, and commissioning readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical understanding of critical electrical and mechanical backup systems (UPS, generators, LV/MV switchgear).
  • Electrical engineering qualification
  • SMSTS or NVQ Level 6/7 in construction management
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in construction management, programme control, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts (advantageous).
  • Well-versed in CDM regulations
