Electrical Project Manager – MEP Contractor (Data Centre)\n\nWe are working in partnership with a well-established MEP contractor, turning over circa £100 million annually, with multiple offices located throughout London.\n\nThis contractor is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical works on a high-profile data centre project in Slough. The client account is strong and secured, offering long-term, stable work within the business — an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress with a growing, reputable firm.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of the electrical package on a major data centre. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating with the mechanical team, monitoring programme and budgets, and ensuring all works meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage and deliver electrical works from inception through to commissioning\n\n * \n\n Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and client representatives\n\n * \n\n Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with health & safety, QA/QC procedures and project documentation\n\n * \n\n Attend regular progress meetings and provide project updates\n\n * \n\n Support commercial and procurement teams as needed\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Previous experience managing electrical packages on data centre or large commercial/industrial projects\n\n * \n\n Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and services\n\n * \n\n SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and relevant electrical qualifications\n\n * \n\n Confident communicator with leadership and coordination skills\n\n * \n\n Able to work collaboratively across MEP disciplines
