MissionXI are recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager for a leading data center contractor in Texas. Our client is a go-to partner for vendors spanning the mission-critical space, currently supporting some of the nation's biggest greenfield critical infrastructure developments.

They are seeking an experienced, professional Electrical Project Manager to lead their field teams across TX, and spearhead industry growth across the Central South.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Define scope, deliverables, and milestones aligned with client and company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage project closeout, including commissioning, documentation, and lessons learned.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, structural, and field operations.
  • Mentor and support engineers and field leaders to drive performance and growth.
  • Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing communication and accountability.
  • Serve as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and manage contracts and change orders.
  • Conduct site visits to verify safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain accurate records, drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

What they look for:

  • 4+ years of project management experience in mission-critical, data center, or large-scale infrastructure construction.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, structural, and commissioning systems (HVAC, power distribution, cooling, controls).
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites as required.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
