Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Watford
Salary: £46,000 + AP Allowances
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights)

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a high-performing engineering team at a critical site near Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a technically demanding environment, with significant investment in your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across critical systems

* Fault finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systems

* Ensure all plant and equipment operate efficiently and in compliance with site standards

* Respond promptly to emergency situations and system failures

* Work as part of a shift team to maintain 24/7 site operations

* Maintain accurate records and comply with all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

* Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience within a commercial or critical environment (e.g. data centres, hospitals, banking sites)

* Strong fault-finding ability and understanding of building services systems

* Experience working in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment

Desirable:

* Authorised Person (AP) tickets (e.g. HV/LV) – highly beneficial

* Previous experience on critical sites such as data centres

* Additional mechanical knowledge
