We’re working exclusively with one of the UK’s top facilities maintenance providers to recruit a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer for a high‑profile critical site in the Bath area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants long‑term stability, structured progression, and the chance to step into HVAP status within just six months.
The Package
* £47,500 starting salary
* £50,000 after completing HVAP training/assessment (6 months)
* 4 on 4 off – 12‑hour shifts (days)
* 25 days annual leave

The Role
You’ll be part of a dedicated engineering team delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance across a critical environment. This is a hands‑on role where reliability, technical skill, and a calm approach under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems
* Respond to and resolve reactive faults efficiently
* Support site operations to maintain uptime and compliance
* Work closely with the wider engineering team on continuous improvement
* Ensure all work meets safety and statutory standards
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification
* 18th Edition
* Experience within building services, ideally on a critical site (data centre, hospital, pharmaceutical, banking, etc.)
* Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive mindset
* Ability to work effectively within a shift team
