Electrical Shift Engineer | Building Services | Critical Environments | Slough & Surrounding Areas | Day & Night Shifts | £52,000 - £62,000 + Paid overtime & employment package.\n\nWe are actively recruiting for a variety of Electrical Shift Engineers to join our building services maintenance team within highly critical datacentre environments based in Slough with similar roles also covering Surrey, Hampshire and West London.\n\nAs the Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be working as part of a shift team, responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial works and first-line fault finding across a critical data centre environment.\n\nGeneral building services equipment will include electrical systems such as wiring, sockets, circuits, power distribution systems and transformers, as well as mechanical plant including air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), chillers and associated building services equipment. Critical systems will include uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) switching operations, HV transformers, standby generators, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and Computer Room Air Handling (CRAH) systems.\n\nEmployment Package:\n\n * Role: Electrical Shift Engineer\n\n * Status: Permanent, PAYE\n\n * Base Salary: £52,000 - £62,000\n\n * Paid overtime available\n\n * Hours: Continental shift pattern, 12 hour shifts. Days & Nights.
(ie: 4 on, 6 off, 6 on, 4 off etc). (average of 14 working days per month).\n\n * Industry: Facilities Maintenance (FM) / Building Services\n\n * Environment: Critical, Datacentre environment (static site).\n\n * Free on-site parking available.\n\n * Pension, private medical and dental cover, 25 days holiday pro rata to shift pattern.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Must hold electrical maintenance experience in either commercial building services or critical environments.\n\n * Experience within datacentres or working with UPS systems, HV Switching, HV Shutdowns, CRAC or CRAH units is highly preferable but not essential.\n\n * Must have a strong electrical understanding.
