Electrical Shift Engineer (Client-Side)\n\nLocation: Canary Wharf, London\nSalary: £58,000 per annum\nShift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)\nBonus: Annual bonus\nBenefits: Private healthcare, gym membership, excellent wider benefits package\n\nAn outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a client-side engineering team at a prestigious, high-profile site in Canary Wharf. This role offers a strong basic salary, bonus, and market-leading benefits, along with the advantages of working directly for the end user rather than an FM provider.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems\n\n * Operate, maintain, and monitor LV electrical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting, and emergency lighting\n\n * Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and first-line response to faults\n\n * Ensure all work is completed in line with statutory regulations and site procedures\n\n * Complete permits, logbooks, and maintenance documentation accurately\n\n * Liaise closely with specialist subcontractors and internal stakeholders\n\n * Support continuous improvement and reliability of critical site systems\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as an Electrical Shift Engineer within a commercial or critical environment\n\n * Strong knowledge of building services electrical systems\n\n * Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)\n\n * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)\n\n * Experience on critical environments (banking, corporate HQ, data centre) is highly desirable\n\n * Comfortable working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (days & nights)\n\n * Professional, client-focused approach with strong communication skills\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * £58,000 basic salary\n\n * Annual bonus\n\n * 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (excellent work-life balance)\n\n * Client-side role with a high-profile organisation\n\n * Private healthcare\n\n * Gym membership\n\n * Excellent pension and holiday allowance\n\n * Long-term career stability and progression opportunities\n\n * \n\nThis is an ideal role for an Electrical Shift Engineer looking to move client-side in Canary Wharf, benefit from a premium working environment, and enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package
