Position: Electrical Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Centers

Location: Iowa (On-Site Full-Time)

One of the nation’s top electrical contractors is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale hyperscale data center builds in Iowa. This role will oversee day-to-day electrical construction, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all phases of fast-paced, mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage field installation of electrical systems on high-value data center projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, foremen, material deliveries, and labor resources
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, QA/QC standards, and client specs
• Drive project schedules and support weekly planning with GCs and trades
• Interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings to ensure accurate execution
• Lead site documentation, inspections, and progress reporting
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, and commissioning teams
• Serve as the on-site lead for electrical sequencing, changes, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10+ years of electrical construction experience, including mission-critical or industrial projects
• Proven track record supervising field crews on hyperscale or large infrastructure builds
• Strong understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and data center-specific standards
• Ability to manage large crews, fast-track schedules, and complex installations
• Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling platforms

Qualifications:

• Experience working with major hyperscale clients or large design/build teams
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license ( but not required)
• OSHA 30 and strong safety leadership background
• Ability to work on-site in Iowa full-time for extended project duration
