Role Description:

We are seeking an Electrical MV Discipline Superintendent to support a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Santa Clara, CA. This role is field- and schedule-focused, with primary responsibility for medium-voltage electrical systems as the project transitions into the commissioning phase.

The Electrical MV Superintendent will serve as the field authority for MV electrical scope; coordinating energization readiness, supporting commissioning activities, and ensuring safe, timely turnover of electrical systems in alignment with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site field leadership for medium-voltage electrical systems during late construction and commissioning
  • Own MV scope from final installation through energization, testing, and turnover
  • Coordinate with:
    - Commissioning teams
    - Electrical contractors and vendors
    - Owner/client representatives
    -Utility providers (as applicable)
  • Support phased energization, shutdown planning, and startup activities
  • Verify installation completeness and readiness for commissioning
  • Drive schedule execution and recovery, resolving field constraints and interface issues
  • Oversee punchlist development and closeout for MV systems
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with:
  • Project specifications
  • Safety requirements
  • Electrical codes and standards
  • Serve as a technical resource for issue resolution during commissioning and startup

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical construction supervision or discipline leadership
  • Strong hands-on experience with medium-voltage electrical systems, including: switchgear, transformers, RMUs, MV distribution systems
  • Proven experience supporting energization and commissioning phases
  • Background in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex industrial facilities
  • Ability to operate as a field-first leader in fast-paced, evolving project environments
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
