Role Overview
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for leading ASC's electrical maintenance function while ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with frontline leadership, requiring the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and PLC-related issues while developing and directing a team of skilled electrical maintenance technicians.
This position partners closely with production, engineering, and operations leadership to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, support continuous improvement efforts, and maintain compliance with all applicable electrical and safety standards. Success in this role will be measured through equipment uptime, response to downtime events, team development, preventative maintenance effectiveness, and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical maintenance technicians to support manufacturing operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, motor control, automation, and PLC-related issues
- Coordinate and prioritize daily electrical maintenance activities to support production requirements
- Provide rapid and effective response to equipment failures and downtime events to minimize operational disruptions
- Develop, implement, and sustain preventative and predictive maintenance programs that improve equipment reliability
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and capital improvement projects
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment and process issues
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and all company safety standards and procedures
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
- Maintain electrical documentation, schematics, maintenance records, and troubleshooting procedures
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing training to strengthen technical and problem-solving capabilities
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Support multiple shifts and provide leadership coverage as needed to ensure operational continuity
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall production performance
- Ensure all maintenance activities support ASC's commitments to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years of industrial electrical, controls, or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience leading maintenance or electrical teams
- Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and power distribution systems
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and reliability-focused maintenance practices
- Proven ability to lead teams, establish priorities, and make sound decisions in fast-paced production environments
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E requirements, and electrical safety best practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment installations, startups, and equipment improvement initiatives
- Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance documentation systems
- Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teams
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to support operational needs

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range
