What You Will Do
- Perform design verification testing for enterprise copper products, evaluating DC and high-frequency electrical performance.
- Conduct product testing and qualification activities based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Support production teams by qualifying test fixtures, adapters, and components.
- Develop testing methods and adjustment processes based on product performance categories and lot requirements.
- Support the transition of products from prototype development into full-scale manufacturing.
- Create software solutions to automate electrical measurement processes.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards impacting fiber optic and connectivity products.
- Analyze test results and determine pass/fail criteria for cable and connector products.
- Maintain testing data, reports, procedures, equipment, and internal processes.
- Design engineering documentation including drawings, CAD models, and PCB layouts.
- Assemble prototypes and sample product lots for performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and production teams to provide technical product support.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing accurate technical information and quality-focused solutions.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; equivalent test and measurement experience will also be considered.
- Experience with vector network analyzers or other advanced laboratory measurement equipment.
- Understanding of EMI and/or wave propagation theory is .
- Programming experience or education.
- Experience with MATLAB is a plus.
- Familiarity with engineering design tools, schematic capture, and development software.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and HTML.
- Ability to plan and execute complex engineering projects and testing programs.
- Understanding of quality procedures and documentation practices.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
