Electrician\n\n£40,000 - £50,000\n\nPeterborough\n\nConstruo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing construction business to recruit a qualified Electrician.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a respected company delivering high-quality electrical services across major projects, including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities.\n\nYou will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across both temporary and permanent works on a variety of construction sites. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to contribute to a professional and expanding team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in line with technical specifications and safety standards\n\n * \n\n Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using appropriate tools and techniques\n\n * \n\n Carry out routine testing and maintenance to ensure system reliability\n\n * \n\n Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry standards\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with other trades and site teams\n\n * \n\n Support and mentor junior staff or apprentices where required\n\n * \n\n Install, maintain, and dismantle temporary site electrical supplies and welfare systems\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 and 18th Edition BS7671)\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working within construction or similar environments\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards\n\n * \n\n Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics\n\n * \n\n Competent in using hand and power tools\n\n * \n\n Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively\n\n * \n\n Flexible approach to work in a fast-paced environment\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence\n\nDesirable\n\n * \n\n 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Basic plumbing knowledge or willingness to learn\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects\n\n * \n\n Supportive and professional working environment\n\n * \n\n Ongoing development and training opportunities\n\nApply Now\n\nIf you’re a qualified Electrician looking to join a growing and reputable business, apply today through Construo Recruitment
