Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning activities within semiconductor manufacturing and facility environments.

This role is responsible for supporting critical electrical infrastructure required for high-tech manufacturing operations, including power distribution, lighting, controls, equipment connections, and related facility electrical systems. The Electrician will work in active construction and industrial environments while collaborating with engineers, technicians, apprentices, subcontractors, and project leadership to support safe, reliable, and high-quality project execution.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial and industrial electrical experience, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and hands-on experience troubleshooting high-voltage and industrial electrical systems. Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation & Equipment Support

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom, industrial, and facility environments.
  • Support electrical infrastructure including power distribution systems, lighting, controls, conduit, cable trays, panels, disconnects, transformers, and equipment connections.
  • Install, commission, test, and verify new electrical equipment in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Perform electrical work associated with facility systems, manufacturing tools, HVAC equipment, ultrapure water systems, utility systems, and other supporting infrastructure.
  • Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, raceways, cable trays, panels, devices, controls, and related electrical components.
  • Support equipment hookups, electrical modifications, system upgrades, and construction-phase electrical activities as assigned.
  • Verify completed electrical installations for workmanship, functionality, code compliance, and project requirements.

Troubleshooting, Maintenance & System Reliability

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues involving power distribution, lighting, controls, facility systems, process-support equipment, manufacturing tools, and related infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, testing, and repair activities to support safe and reliable equipment performance.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using voltmeters, ohmmeters, meters, diagnostic tools, and other specialized testing equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting involving high-voltage systems, variable frequency drives, PLC-related components, motors, controls, and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Identify equipment degradation, electrical hazards, abnormal operating conditions, damaged components, and potential reliability concerns.
  • Escalate critical electrical failures, safety concerns, system alarms, and urgent repair needs to supervisors, engineers, or project leadership.
  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting findings, testing results, and system-performance information accurately and on time.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and client-site protocols.
  • Perform work in accordance with the Electrical Code, company specifications, approved drawings, work instructions, and applicable industry standards.
  • Support QA/QC inspections and verification activities to ensure electrical installations meet project requirements and quality expectations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with site requirements, cleanroom standards, and 5S practices where applicable.
  • Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, quality issues, near misses, installation concerns, and electrical hazards promptly.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and other required safety activities.

Team Collaboration & Project Support

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, apprentices, foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to support project execution.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to complete assigned work accurately.
  • Support commissioning, startup, testing, turnover, and troubleshooting activities for new and existing electrical systems.
  • Assist with materials planning, equipment staging, jobsite organization, and field coordination as needed.
  • Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to apprentices or less experienced team members when assigned.
  • Maintain professional communication with team members and support a dependable, safety-first, and team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Experience working with high-voltage systems and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction-site dynamics, safe work practices, and electrical installation procedures.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to work safely in active construction, industrial, cleanroom, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom, manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical facility environments.
  • Experience with electrical power distribution, controls, variable frequency drives, PLC-related components, motors, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Experience supporting ultrapure water systems, process-support systems, HVAC systems, facility utilities, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with electrical commissioning, startup, equipment qualification, or facility turnover activities.
  • Project coordination or project-management experience.
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or working with entry-level electrical team members.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC practices, electrical inspection requirements, and construction documentation.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

This role involves work in active semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom, industrial, commercial construction, and facility-support environments. The Electrician may work around electrical distribution systems, manufacturing equipment, utility infrastructure, controls, and other high-tech facility systems.

The position requires the ability to work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment and following site-specific safety procedures. Work may include standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, using lifts or elevated platforms, handling tools and materials, and responding to changing project conditions in a fast-paced construction or operational environment.
