Data Center Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day data center activities, lead a team of technicians, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with strong troubleshooting abilities, data center expertise, and a passion for mentoring and developing technical talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Data Center Technicians responsible for server maintenance, hardware deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering technical growth and operational excellence.
• Perform regular inspections, audits, and preventative maintenance of data center equipment to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
• Develop, implement, and enforce best practices for data center operations, safety, and infrastructure management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, networking, and operations groups, to support customer and business initiatives.
• Respond to technical incidents, escalations, and emergencies while minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, hardware, networking, and operating system issues.
• Support capacity planning, infrastructure scaling initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with management to execute strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support in a 24x7 operational environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ellendale, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $112000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
