Diversified Safety is seeking an Energy Marshall for one of our electrical contractors in the Northern Virginia area.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician in data center environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Medium Voltage (>1000V) and Low Voltage (<1000V) power distribution system sequence of operations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• Understanding of and ability to isolate potential sources of energy with potential back feeds.
• Understanding of and ability to perform absence of voltage verifications.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70E.
• Hands-on experience with equipment startups, LOTO, and electrical testing.
• Leadership experience in the electrical field, preferably overseeing commissioning teams.
• Ability to work extended hours as required by the job site schedule.
• Strong background with computers and commissioning software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complicated electrical systems to those with less experience.
