Provision Data Services are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician for their data center in Downtown Dallas! The NOC technician is responsible for carrying out monitoring operations, servicing and maintaining servers, network, and telecommunication equipment in a centralized data location.\n\nBasic tasks include: Air filter replacement, pallet jack use, basic mechanical/small repairs. Need to have a blend of IT, security, and light facility maintenance.

Experience and Education:\n - Associate's or Bachelor's in IT\n - CompTIA certification (optional but nice to have)\n - 6+ months of IT experience \n\nRequirements\n•\tModerate IT helpdesk, server, and networking knowledge.\n•\tBasic mechanical and electrical knowledge.\n•\tCustomer relations knowledge.\n•\tSecurity knowledge.\n•\tComputer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook or similar programs.\n•\tAbility to work independently and as a team member.\n•\tWeekends required; on-call on a rotating basis.\nResponsibilities\n•\tSecurity detail\n•\tClient relations\n•\tIT support\n•\tOperational support\n•\tOnsite and offsite equipment monitoring\n•\tFacility testing\n•\tOn call for emergencies\n•\tPerforms other duties as assigned by the Data manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
