Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Position Overview
SAVI EHS is seeking a motivated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support a large-scale data center construction project in Aldie, Virginia. This position is ideal for an individual with 2–3 years of construction safety experience who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The EHS Coordinator will work directly with the project’s Construction Manager and the SAVI EHS leadership team to ensure compliance, promote a proactive safety culture, and support day-to-day EHS operations on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections and assist in maintaining compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Support site-specific orientations and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel understand EHS expectations.
- Participate in daily hazard analysis (DHA) meetings and monitor field conditions for potential risks.
- Assist in incident investigations, documentation, and development of corrective actions.
- Verify that trade contractors are following their safety programs and training requirements.
- Partner with field leadership to promote a “Zero-Incident” safety culture.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation for inspections and audits.
- Support the coordination of crane activities, critical lifts, and high-risk work operations.
- Contribute to data collection on safety performance metrics and trend analysis.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in construction safety or EHS coordination (data center or industrial project experience ).
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, job hazard analysis, and safety compliance practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic digital reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to engage field personnel effectively.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510 .
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field .
