Environment, Health, and Safety Technician

Job Description

Key responsibilities and focus areas include: Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting environmental responsibility. Partnering with leaders, individual contributors, and sites to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards. Providing tools and resources to educate employees on EHS hazards. Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and country-specific EHS regulations. Reducing environmental impact through sustainable waste and environmental best practices. Managing employee safety, functional safety, operational safety, laser and radiation safety, safety in design and integration, safety engineering. Conducting site/space audits and inspections, emergency response, chemical compliance. Supporting EHS training, incident reporting

Skills set:

Required 3 years experience with 5 or more.

Must for certificates would be CHST with ASP/CSP. OSHA 500 large bonus

1) OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR

2) Incident investigation and employee care experience

3) Data center EHS experience

4) Respectable attendance record

5) Complete daily walks, customer compliance asks

6) Audits pretask plans and equipment inspections

7) Attend customer and employer meetings. Be involved. Be a leader.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
