Position Overview
SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, Ohio.
This role will work closely with the Construction Manager and project leadership team to oversee site-wide safety compliance and drive a strong, proactive safety culture across all trade partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in data center or large-scale commercial construction environments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for the project
- Conduct documented daily EHS inspections and audits
- Deliver site-specific EHS orientations and training
- Assist with coordination of crane activities and other high-risk operations
- Participate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs)
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with project leadership to maintain an injury-free workplace
- Track and analyze leading and lagging indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Review and support development of site-specific safety plans
- Ensure all trade partners comply with approved safety procedures
- Verify worker training, certifications, and qualifications
- Partner with contractor safety teams to strengthen site safety performance
- Serve as liaison with client and risk management teams
- Support behavior-based safety initiatives and positive safety culture
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of construction EHS experience (data center experience )
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms
- OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS or related field ()
