POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time, experienced EHS Coordinator to join our high-performance team and be a part of our journey to shape the future of the U.S. data center community by delivering resilient and sustainable solutions that make a difference.
The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and managing all aspects of EHS throughout the company – Production, Service, and Corporate. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, strong administrative and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in detecting, monitoring, and tracking EHS-related activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in working directly with company management at all levels to find ways to continue to keep our employees safe in both internal and external workplace design and use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAFETY - Proactively and reactively identifying safety-related issues and working directly with directors and managers in Fabrication, Production, On-Site Services, and Corporate environments on same. Continuously monitor industry EHS-related trends, issues, and opportunities and their application to ESI and TFMS.
- COORDINATION - Working closely with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Service, Corporate) and external stakeholders (clients, partners, industry contacts) to address any and all EHS-related issues and to ensure timely completion of any identified issues.
- TRAINING & DOCUMENTATION - Work closely with colleagues on the Training team to document all EHS-related activities and translate same into training manuals, curriculum, and related. Participate in and lead, as designated, in any training-related activities at HQ, in-field, and in satellite offices as needed.
- KPI & REPORTING - Tracking key factors to keep management informed and team intentionally engaged. This will include providing Engineering & ISO 9001 internal management team with regular and detailed data.
KEY TEAM JOB TASKS
- Work with the Fabrication, Production, On-Site Services and Corporate management teams to identify potential safety-related issues as they would apply to the firm’s long-term business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including directors, managers, and team members of the Fabrication, Production, and Fuel & On-Site Services divisions, and our clients & partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for anything EHS-related, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention amongst all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote ESI’s commitment to EHS and ISO9001 certification.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Monitor performance against targets and KPIs, identifying areas for improvements and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on all EHS-related activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, or a related field;
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, fulfillment, field service, and corporate environments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
