Our People Team shapes the employee experience and delivers the strategy that powers our business.\n\nWe're hiring an experienced ER & Policy Manager to lead individual and collective ER cases (grievance, disciplinary, sickness, insourcing), while redefining HR policies and building manager capability. This role blends hands-on casework with strategic policy development and change leadership.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the ER & Policy Manager include:\n\nManage ER cases and coach managers through resolution\nLead collective ER processes including insourcing and structural change\nRedesign HR policies and contracts to reflect company behaviours and tone\nEnsure policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with best practice\nCommunicate and embed policy changes, upskilling managers\nEnhance HR intranet with accessible tools and guidance\nDeliver training and e-learning for line managers\nRecommend models for ongoing HR/ER support\nSupport wider People Strategy projectsThe successful ER & Policy Manager will have:\n\nStrong UK employment law and ER expertise\nExperience managing individual and collective ER cases\nProven success in policy development and insourcing\nConfident coaching and influencing skills\nClear, effective communication style\nProactive, improvement-focused mindset \n\nTo apply for the ER & Policy Manager please send your CV to (url removed)\n\nProject People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
