Seeking an Estimating Director to lead the Preconstruction unit of a civils and formwork subcontractor based in Buckinghamshire.
\n
\n
My client is looking to consolidate its senior leadership team with the appointment of an Estimating Director.
\n
\n
The current leadership team comprises:

- Managing Director
- Operations Director
- Commercial & Contracts Director
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
The contractor in question specialise in concrete works within the civil sector, working with repeat clients including Costain, TSL, Skanska, H&MV, Strabag amongst several others.
\n
\n
They are multi-disciplined, with an established presence across Infrastructure, Substructures & Groundworks, Aviation, Data Centres, Rail and more. Notable projects include HS2 working on behalf of SCS, alongside a Southern Water framework that provides an ongoing workload through to 2030.
\n
\n
The nature of the work makes this role particularly well suited to someone with a groundworks and formwork background.
\n
\n
The successful candidate will have full autonomy to lead and develop the Preconstruction function, with direct support from the Managing Director.
\n
\n
The role will be tailored to the individual, including the choice of software, ability to bring in additional support, and the opportunity to build a team as the work bank grows.
\n
\n
The MD sees this as a key appointment and is prepared to offer a highly competitive package, alongside a KPI-driven profit share with the potential to more than double the base salary/day rate.
