F5/Network Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues in large-scale, complex enterprise and data centre networks.
• Manage Cisco enterprise routing and switching infrastructure, including WAN Edge, access switches, wireless access points, and connected devices.
• Support and troubleshoot data centre technologies such as wireless controllers, Cisco ACI, F5 solutions, and cloud networking platforms.
• Administer Cisco devices with proficiency in NX-OS and IOS.
• Ensure robust network security across enterprise and data centre environments.
• Optimize application performance through SSL offloading, HTTP/2 enhancements, and traffic management policies.
• Configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancers to efficiently distribute web traffic across multiple servers.
• Develop and implement custom iRules for advanced traffic control, security enforcement, and tailored SSL profiles.
• Maintain dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) to ensure reliable and scalable network routing.
• Design and manage F5 LTM configurations, including VIP pools, node setups, cookie persistence, and URL redirection.
