Production Opportunity: Fabrication Shop Support

We are currently looking for Fabrication Shop Support to join our Production team located at our office in Charlotte, NC. Our ideal candidate for Fabrication Shop Support is someone who is personable, high energy, and brings a strong sense of leadership and commitment to our team. This individual should possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities while also having effective communication skills and the ability to be a collaborative team player.

Primary responsibilities for icon’s Fabrication Shop Support include:

• Sweeping, moping, and dusting all areas of the fabrication shop, including workstations and equipment.
• Processing and removing trash, using a compactor for box scraps and other waste materials.
• Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
• Ensuring all cleaning procedures comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Supporting fabrication shop operations by performing general labor tasks as needed.
• Regularly inspecting areas for cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Ensuring all cleaning procedures comply with safety and regulatory standards and adhering to all safety protocols.
• Any additional responsibilities that are designated by the manager.

Primary qualifications for icon’s Fabrication Shop Support include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
