We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day service, maintenance, and contractors statewide. The Facilities Manager will supervise facilities' related functions and lead a team of maintenance professionals.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee the daily facilities aspects of multiple locations and coordinate with teams to ensure the operation is running smoothly.
  • Manage various contractors including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, generator, UPS, janitorial, security, and landscaping.
  • Lead all Building Services technical staff in the scheduled PM’s, repair/trouble shooting of facility equipment as needed.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify any necessary repairs or upgrades and implement plans to address facility requirements.
  • Participate in budget planning and management sessions each facility, including maintenance, capital improvements, and repairs.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with legal regulations and environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate facility operations, renovations, and other projects.
  • Manage, train, and develop a high-performing team of Real Estate Operations technicians at multiple sites.
  • Provide emergency support/response over the phone, or in person as needed.
  • Support 24x7 Emergency Support activities including but not limited to disaster response, on-call rotation and neighbor island travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business management, engineering, or a related field .
  • 5+ years in a Data Center, Network facilities and or Building facilities management experience.
  • 2+ years in project and facilities management software or tools.
  • 2+ years environmental, health, and safety regulations recommended.
  • 2+ years leadership and team management experience supervising field technician.

Recommended Skills & Qualifications:

  • Management, Construction, Engineering, or related fields
  • Proven experience as a facilities supervisor or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Office, Project, Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Understanding of project management methodologies but not required
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
