No C2C | Corp to Corp
Ability to work 12-hour shifts 6am - 6pm, day shift - 4 months/ 3 months night shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Total you work 36 hours/week - three 12 hours shifts (3 days/ week) - but get paid for 40 hours + quarterly bonus on top of hourly pay
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician | Building Engineer | Maintenance Mechanic | "Stationary Engineer" |"Facilities Electrician" | "Industrial Maintenance" | Maintenance Technician | Plant Operations/ Operator | Critical Environment Technician | Industrial Maintenance | Stationary Engineer to join our operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining and operating critical and non-critical facility systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Primary Skills:
- Critical Facilities or Any critical facilities experience is fine - ex. Data Center | Hospitals - Healthcare Services | military bases, emergency services (police, fire, etc.) | power plants, electrical grids | HVAC OR Chillers | plumbing | "Building Management System" | "Switchgear" | UPS | Generators | "Critical Environment" | MEP | "Power Distribution" | Manufacturing Plant | Pharmaceutical Facility | Semiconductor Fab | Research Laboratory | Corporate Campus | Financial Institution Facility | Utility or Power | Industrial Park | Government Critical department | "Preventive Maintenance" | "Mission Critical"
- Strong communications skills are very important
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Operate and maintain HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection/suppression systems, life safety, temperature controls, building management systems, and digital systems (fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
- Manage all electrical operations, including planning, implementation, coordination, and supervision of maintenance and energy management programs.
- Ensure compliance with change control processes and maintenance procedures (MOP/SOP/ERP).
- Monitor and operate facility systems, ensuring safe and compliant performance.
- Oversee work performed by contractors and service providers.
- Execute and document preventive and corrective maintenance work orders using a computerised maintenance management system.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
- Conduct building tours and inspections during scheduled shifts.
- Ensure materials are identified, ordered, and documented appropriately.
- Assign and monitor safe work responsibilities for employees and contractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in facility operations.
What We're Looking For Education/Experience:
- High school diploma with 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support, OR 7+ years' experience as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
- Electrical/Mechanical certifications .
