Job Description

At the Notre Dame Alumni Association, our mission is to welcome and uplift the entire Notre Dame family, helping them thrive in learning, service, faith, and work. We exist to celebrate Notre Dame, build lifelong relationships, and inspire our community to be a force for good in the world.

FaithND serves as the spiritual heart of our global alumni outreach, providing daily inspiration and spiritual connection. We are seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented, and creative individual to help bring this vital work to life through high-quality digital audio content.

This is a key role that supports the spiritual growth of our global community. The Audio Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Director of Spirituality and Service and the FaithND Program Manager to produce and manage the digital audio operations for FaithND, with a primary focus on our beloved Daily Gospel Reflection.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission while building valuable skills in digital media production, project coordination, and community engagement.

  • Project Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities:

Daily Audio Production and Volunteer Management
This is the central function of the role, focused on delivering the Daily Gospel Reflection seven days a week:

  • Production Oversight: Oversee the full production lifecycle of the daily audio reflection, including content formatting, database record maintenance, and scheduled publishing of the audio content seven days a week.

  • Volunteer Coordination: Manage the roster of volunteer voice actors by coordinating their schedules, assigning recording deadlines, and ensuring timely submission and consistent quality.

  • Quality and Editing: Ensure every recording meets high standards for audio clarity, tone, and content consistency, collaborating closely with the editor.

Marketing and Program Support
Contribute to the visibility and expansion of FaithND's reach:

  • Content Marketing: Manage and execute targeted marketing strategies for the audio reflection and FaithND content overall.

  • Program Planning: Actively participate in team planning meetings and assist the Associate Director and Program Manager in developing new audio content and broader spirituality outreach initiatives as needed.

Digital Asset Management and Data Analysis
Support the team's digital infrastructure and continuous improvement:

  • Receive training in related digital content for faith.nd.edu, including the website, FaithND communication inbox, and all FaithND media assets.

  • Help with data collection, maintenance, analysis, and reporting to continually enhance marketing efforts and content performance.

This is a temporary position with an expected schedule of 20 hours per week, offering flexible hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong project management and editing abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Demonstrated success in managing online communities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional audio production experience
