Fiber & Low Voltage Technician - BICSI Level 2 Technician

A leading infrastructure services provider is seeking multiple BICSI Level 2 Technicians to support an active data center project on a secured military base in Williamsburg, VA. This is Phase 1 of a long-term, multi-phase deployment, with at least six additional phases planned.
Position Overview
Technicians will support fiber and structured cabling deployment inside a live data center environment on a military installation. While detailed task lists are still being finalized, candidates should expect standard BICSI Level 2 responsibilities involving:
- Fiber installation, termination, testing, and labeling
- Low-voltage and structured cabling installation
- Support of multi-phase infrastructure buildouts
- Working in secured, high-demand environments
This project requires technicians who can work independently, follow strict site protocols, and meet professional communication and documentation standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Active BICSI Level 2 Certification (Required)
- Experience with fiber optics, structured cabling, and industry-standard LV installation practices
- Ability to work on an active military base (background screening may apply)
- Strong troubleshooting, installation, and testing capabilities
- Ability to start immediately or within a few days
- Reliability, professionalism, and strict adherence to site rules and security procedures
