Fiber Splicer – All Levels (Contract to Hire)

Candidates must be open to travelling to and working from Abilene, TX | $150/day Per Diem (if 50+ miles away) | Mileage Reimbursed for Initial Travel

We’re hiring Fiber Splicers of all levels (entry, mid, and advanced) to support our client’s data center operations in Abilene, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with growth potential.

What You’ll Do

• Perform fiber splicing (single, ribbon, mid-sheath, relocations, hot cuts).
• Read and interpret prints, splice matrixes, and project documents.
• Conduct OTDR and power meter testing; troubleshoot fiber issues.
• Install and maintain splice enclosures.
• Support project documentation and schedules.
• Lead, train, and mentor (for advanced-level splicers).
• Maintain strict safety standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Entry Level: 1–3 yrs fiber splicing experience (OSHA 10 ).
• Mid Level: 3–5 yrs experience, OSHA 10 required.
• Advanced Level: 5–7+ yrs experience, OSHA 30 required.
• Valid driver’s license (DOT medical card eligibility).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid (required at advanced level).
