Amphenol is seeking a Field Sales Engineer (FSE) to support key OEM customers in the server, storage, and data center markets. This role serves as the primary technical and commercial interface, focused on driving design-ins, supporting customer engineering teams, and growing strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Technical Sales
- Act as the main technical contact for OEM customers (HDD, SSD, server, hyperscale).
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand system requirements and recommend solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and solution proposals.
Design-In Ownership
- Drive design-in and design-win opportunities across customer programs.
- Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production.
Account Growth & Strategy
- Build strong customer relationships across engineering and procurement teams.
- Identify growth opportunities and support account strategy and revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to support customer needs.
- Act as the liaison to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful execution.
Market Development
- Identify opportunities in data center, hyperscale, and next-gen storage platforms.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Experience in Field Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or FAE roles.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions and translate customer needs into solutions.
- Experience in server, storage, or data center markets .
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering discipline.
