Field Service Engineer - BESS Specialist

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Van+Industry-Overtime+Leading Training+Career Progression

Location: Home Counties - some travel required

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join our client's highly respected UK service team as a BESS specialist. This is a critical, customer-facing role offering significant autonomy, technical challenge, and a structured development programme in a high-growth industry.

The successful candidate will be the technical expert responsible for the full lifecycle support of our client's high-voltage battery storage products at customer sites across the UK, working from a base location in the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Service & Repair: Performing complex fault diagnosis, scheduled preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on BESS units, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and associated high-voltage equipment.

Commissioning: Leading the installation, testing, and successful commissioning of new BESS equipment on large-scale industrial and utility projects.

Technical Support: Providing professional, on-site technical guidance and handover training to client facility management teams.

Quality Assurance: Maintaining meticulous service records and ensuring all work meets the client's global quality and safety standards.
