About the Role
\n
Cooler Master is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to support the deployment, commissioning, and service of advanced liquid cooling solutions across North America.
\n
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, solving technical challenges in the field, and supporting mission-critical equipment and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cooler Master liquid cooling systems while helping build and scale our North America Service Organization.

As one of the early members of the service team, this individual will not only support customer deployments and service activities but also help establish the foundation for future service operations and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform onsite installation, commissioning, startup, and maintenance of liquid cooling systems and CDU equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues in the field.
- Provide technical support during customer escalations and serve as the first line of field response.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and performance verification activities.
- Deliver customer training on system operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
- Create detailed service reports, root cause analyses, and corrective action documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Program Management teams to resolve field issues and improve product reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for service processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Travel extensively throughout North America to support customer deployments, validation activities, pilot installations, and service requirements.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Field Service Engineering, Commissioning, Technical Support, System Integration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Experience in liquid cooling, thermal management, HVAC, data center infrastructure, industrial equipment, or other related technical service environments is highly .
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in field environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% throughout North America.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air as required.

Training & Onboarding
\n
During the first year, the selected candidate will be expected to spend about one week per month at Fremont, CA for product training, factory exposure, relationship building, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Program Management teams.
