Role Overview
\n
Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to support financial reporting and general ledger accounting, including consolidations and eliminations, within a multiple entity organization.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting activities, including preparation of GAAP basis financial statements
- Support the consolidations process, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and tie outs across a complex legal entity structure
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry preparation and review
- Assist in financial statement audit preparation and manage audit deliverables
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on technical accounting issues and special projects
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency

Minimum Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Two plus years of professional experience in accounting, experience in the renewable energy industry
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA license
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with accounting ERP platforms, NetSuite
- Ability to travel up to 25%
