The Fire Alarm Engineer Role

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you’ll play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning a range of addressable and conventional fire alarm and suppression systems across prestigious sites.

Your work will take you across Slough, Hemel Hempstead, Oxford, Canary Wharf, and surrounding areas, providing both technical excellence and top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Servicing and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems on Advanced and Kentec panels.

*

Diagnosing and rectifying system faults efficiently.

*

Conducting site assessments and ensuring systems comply with fire safety regulations.

*

Producing accurate documentation, reports, and system records.

*

Supporting clients and site engineers with technical advice and solutions.

*

Working within data centres and other commercial environments to maintain safety-critical systems.

The Fire Alarm Engineer

*

Proven background in fire alarm servicing and commissioning.

*

Hands-on experience with Advanced and Kentec panels (addressable & conventional).

*

Knowledge of fire suppression systems.

*

Understanding of BS5839 and fire industry standards.

*

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

*

Full UK Driving Licence essential.

*

Relevant industry qualifications and ECS/CSCS card.

*

Strong communicator with a professional, client-focused approach.

£38,000 – £40,000 per annum

£300 weekly standby allowance for callouts
