They specialise, and are leading figures, in the Fire Suppression industry which is proudly demonstrated by being the UK's leading Data Centre Fire Suppression provider! They have been at the forefront of the industry and pride themselves on being the best in the business demonstrated by sterling track record and being the industries go-to for Data Centre Fire Suppression!
Due to their consistent growth, they're now looking for 2 Project Managers with Fire Suppression experience to join them as soon as possible!\n\nThe Rapid Works Project Manager will oversee and coordinate the delivery of fast-turnaround fire safety installation and commissioning projects. The role requires a hands-on, experienced professional capable of managing multiple jobs simultaneously, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring delivery standards are met across safety, time, and budget\n\nThis is permanent position paying £58.5k + a £6.5k car allowance + a 10% annual bonus!\n\nThis is a 37.5 hour per week position with those 7.5 daily hours able be to completed anytime between 8AM - 6PM to allow flexibility around the candidates work life balance!\n\nJob Duties include:\n\nOversee the installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems to the highest standards.\nOccasionally support site-based tasks directly as needed.\nLead rapid works projects from survey to completion.\nManage large-scale projects, including those exceeding £1 million in value.\nCoordinate RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) documentation for all works.\nMonitor ongoing site works, ensuring progress and compliance.\nManage procurement: obtain prices, raise purchase orders, arrange delivery of parts, materials, and access equipment.\nAttend site and remote (Teams) meetings with clients, engineers, and suppliers.\nLiaise with subcontractors to coordinate costs, resources, and work schedules.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.\nSupport recruitment, mentoring, and performance management as the team grows.\nThe type of candidate they're looking for is:\n\nProven experience in the installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems.\nExperience in project managing fire safety or construction-related projects.\nAbility to work hands-on when necessary and willing to visit sites regularly.\nStrong understanding of health and safety regulations and RAMS documentation.\nExcellent organizational, procurement, and communication skills.\nComfortable with client interaction and contractor coordination.\nValid UK driving license.\nLocated in South East England or within reasonable travel distance to M25 sites.\nHighly Desirable and Advantageous:\n\nExperience working in data centres.\nKnowledge of water mist and gas suppression systems.\nPrevious experience managing a team.\nProficiency in MS Office and project tracking software.\nThere are many very attractive benefits to accompany this position such as:\n\n£6.5k Car allowance!\n10% Annual Bonus!\nYearly Pay Reviews!\nHoliday Day Purchase! \n25 days holidays with an extra day every year of service up to 30 days! \nDeath in Service!\nHealthcare package!\nEnhanced Pension!\nIf this role is for you, please apply with your CV ASAP!\n\nCONPERM
