CONTRACTOR ASSIGNMENT

Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer (PE) – Contract (2–3 Weeks)
Location: Remote / Flexible
Duration: Short-term contract (approx. 2–3 weeks)

Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to support the final phase of a data center fire protection design project. The project is approximately 80% complete and requires an experienced professional to review, finalize, and stamp the design.

Scope of Work:

• Review existing fire protection system design for data center racking systems
• Validate sprinkler system layout integrated within rack infrastructure
• Complete remaining design elements and ensure code compliance
• Perform final quality checks and calculations
• Provide PE stamp on completed design package

Requirements:

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Fire Protection or closely related discipline)
• Strong experience with fire suppression systems, specifically sprinkler design
• Experience with data centers or high-density equipment environments
• Familiarity with Elite Fire (or similar fire protection design software)
• Ability to quickly assess and complete partially finished designs

Additional Details:

• Project is already ~80% complete; focus is on review, completion, and stamping
• Fast turnaround required; ability to start immediately
