Fire & Security Project Engineer (Data Centres)

Job Description

Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, have an opportunity for a Project Engineer (Data Centres).\nThe position of Project Engineer is to work on and assist with the day to day project management of a new Fire Detection and Mechanical Fire Protection Project within a Data Centre environment. With a sound knowledge and previous experience in the industry, you will ensure efficient delivery and installation of challenging, fast paced data centre projects.\nResponsibilities:-\n * Ability to handle projects from enquiry to completion.\n * Ability to manage a construction programme and report accordingly.\n * To effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with both sub-contractors and clients.\n * Undertaking of relevant H & S duties ie safe starts, tool box talks etc.\n * Liaise with manufacturing, design and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.\n * Ability to highlight any problem areas ensuring they are effectively communicated to the relevant parties.\n * Ensuring compliance with codes, practices, and specifications.\n * To complete Quality Assurance documentation ensuring works are of the appropriate standard and report snags to sub-contractors.\n * Ability to delegate tasks to team members.\n * Willingness to learn and undertake commercial responsibilities on projects.\n * Any other duties commensurate with your position
