ABOUT THE ROLE
- As part of the fit-out Team and reporting to Head of Fit Out, the fit-out project manager will be responsible for ensuring that customer fit-out projects are delivered correctly.
- Responsible for end-to-end monitoring of the fit-out of the customers concerned from design, quotations, choice of suppliers and delivery, in line with the customer's strategy, desired margins and the quality of service expected by the customer.
- Supporting the customer-facing teams, the main Sales teams, in submitting and obtaining approval for projects.
- Responsible for monitoring the schedule and quality of service throughout the project.
- Working in collaboration with the operational and construction teams to ensure the successful completion of the assignment.
- The role is based in Alcobendas Data4 Campus and will be responsible mainly for the fit-out project in Spain and potentially involved on other fit out projects in other countries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision of the suppliers and contractor involved in the projects
- Drawing up specifications
- Drawing up a provisional schedule
- Anticipating the cost of any project overruns
- Enforcing the health and safety rules with suppliers
- Managing suppliers access on site.
- Meeting project deadlines.
- Preparing and holding customer and customer meetings.
- Giving the customer visibility of project progress.
- Taking part in projects recurring call meetings.
- Ensure that project delivery deadlines are met.
- Coordinate project work with maintenance operations to avoid duplication of service activities.
- Report to Head of Fit Out the status of the projects

REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
- More than 5 years' experience in facility and construction preferring in Data Center Industries.
- Technician/engineer with experience.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of electricity, air conditioning, computer networks, safety and security
- Ability to coordinate supplier and contractors
- Project management.
- Ability to listen to customer needs and constraints.
- Use of MS Project, Autocad, MS Office
- Ability to communicate in English on daily basis
