Position Summary
The Foreman plays a pivotal role in managing all phases of data center installation projects. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction. The Foreman oversees the execution of engineering work packages, maintains high standards of installation quality, and provides outstanding customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Will Do

- Strong knowledge of daily JSA and JHA processes, LOTO where required, stop work authority and reporting in support of company best practices.
- Install and decommission critical cabling and network infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
- Exhibit a high level of Safety and Quality on all work.
- Follow all Safety, Quality, and Production standards, codes, and industry best practices.
- Plan, assign, and perform daily work activity layout for all aspects of Structured Cabling System installations in conjunction with the field supervisor.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on highly complex Structured Cabling Systems and Network Connectivity that support Data Center and other Mission-Critical Infrastructure.
- Ensure project work performed by the Technical Installation Team conforms to all project design drawings, plans, specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and installation standards.
- Demonstrate broad understanding of Structured Cabling System installation and commissioning.
- Maintain work area organization and good housekeeping at all times.
- Organize materials, tools, and equipment, collect debris, and promptly address hazardous conditions.
- Teach and mentor less experienced Infrastructure Technicians.
- Maintain compliance with customer Safety, Quality, Security, and Site Access policies and requirements.

What You Bring to the Table
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of verifiable experience in the Structured Cabling or Telecommunications Industry.
- OSHA 30 certification – must obtain within 90 days of hire.
- First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
- Fiber Optic Association certifications .
- BICSI Technical certifications .
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have direct reports.
Work Location and Travel
This position is on-site daily. Overnight travel (approximately 50%) is expected. The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required.
Career Progression
This position supports growth into a field supervisory position.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The standard work environment for this position is primarily indoors, although outdoor work may occasionally be required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach, and communicate effectively. The individual is frequently required to stand and walk and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds. The individual may also be required to work from heights and in tight, confined spaces.
