We are seeking an experienced Design Manager with a proven track record in Data Centre / Mission Critical projects to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams from pre-construction through to delivery. The role is client-facing and based at our client’s office in Newbury.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design management process across Data Centre projects.
*
Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP design teams.
*
Manage design deliverables, RFIs, technical queries, and design changes.
*
Chair design coordination meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
*
Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and delivered to programme.
*
Support procurement, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Requirements
*
5+ years’ experience as a Design Manager on Data Centre / Mission Critical projects.
*
Strong understanding of MEP coordination and Design & Build delivery.
*
Experience using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and CDE platforms.
*
Degree or HNC/HND in a construction or engineering discipline.
*
SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card .
*
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
*
Experience with Tier III / Tier IV Data Centres.
*
Knowledge of commissioning and live operational environments
