Commercial Gas Engineer\n\nNorth East\n\nMobile with a Van\n\nSalary up to £50,000\n\nMy client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their busy maintenance team. You’ll be carrying out maintenance, servicing, repairs, and compliance checks on commercial gas systems across a range of sites, helping to keep buildings safe, efficient, and reliable.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances and systems\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)\n\n * Install and commission new commercial gas plant and pipework when required\n\n * Ensure work meets Gas Safe and industry standards\n\n * Complete compliance documentation and job reports\n\n * Take part in call-out rota and occasional weekend work\n\nRequirements\n\n * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial gas role\n\n * Valid Commercial Gas ACS qualifications: COCN1, CCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1 / TPCP1A\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\n * Strong knowledge of regulations and safe working practices\n\n * Able to work independently and manage workload effectively\n\nDesirable\n\n * Additional LPG, Catering Gas, or Domestic Gas qualifications\n\n * Experience in hospitals, schools, data centres, or other high-risk sites\n\n * Awareness of wider building services (HVAC, plumbing, BMS)\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary + overtime + call-out allowance\n\n * Company van & fuel card\n\n * Ongoing training and development\n\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * Pension scheme\n\n * Uniform & PPE\n\n * Bupa Healthcare after 6 months
