Position Summary

The General Manager will be accountable for both the operational and strategic performance of the company’s mission critical/data center projects. This individual will manage and mentor project teams, oversee project delivery, and ensure that both client expectations and company standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to office and project management teams.
  • Oversee the execution of electrical contracting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Optimize and enhance preconstruction, estimating, bid forecasting and strategic sales performance
  • Partner with executive leadership to set business goals, establish priorities, and drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on mission critical/data center projects.
  • Manage financial performance, including forecasting, budgets, and profitability targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a strong, capable, and motivated team.
  • Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to overcome challenges in the field and office.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field ().
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical contracting, with a focus on mission critical/data center projects.
  • Prior experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive required.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and deliver complex projects successfully.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
