The General Superintendent is responsible for the overall field execution of mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. This role provides leadership to Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. The General Superintendent partners closely with Project Managers, Safety, Prefabrication, and Operations leadership to drive consistent execution across all jobsites.
Qualifications:
Required
- 10–15+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, plumbing, piping).
- 5+ years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite logistics.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or mission-critical projects.
- Familiarity with prefabrication and lean construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
