Your Impact:

Join Pearce as a dynamic and motivated Generator Technician, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing commercial generators used on cell phone towers. This position suits independent self-starters eager to grow in the Telecom industry and willing to travel to new locations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator systems, and perform necessary upgrades or component replacements.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and follow blueprints for generator installations or repairs.
• Install fuel, water supply lines, pumps, wiring, and controls, ensuring proper operation.
• Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms and be prepared for on-call duties, including phone and email responses.
• Ensure safety by using protective equipment and participating in safety meetings, being aware of hazards like electric shock and traffic.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance; two or more years preferred.
• Expertise in generator installations, maintenance, and repairs; knowledge of electronics and electrical components.
• Familiarity with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to comply with OSHA standards for safety, and capable of lifting over 50 pounds and performing physical tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, drive long distances, and pass a DOT physical.

Base Pay Range$30—$40 USD
