Global Account Manager – Data Centre

Purpose of the Position

* The Global Account Manager – Data Centre is responsible for managing several Global Accounts within selected strategic segments. The role defines and delivers sales budgets, analyses market evolution, anticipates trends, and promotes new offers. The position ensures global consistency of commercial agreements and coordinates cross-functionally to support sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to define and implement strategies for selected Global Accounts, including SWOT analysis and strategic account mapping.

* Define, manage, and achieve sales budgets for assigned Global Accounts, including turnover growth, working capital optimisation, credit management, DSO control, and development of account references and networks.

* Monitor customer satisfaction through defined KPIs and proactively propose and implement corrective action plans where required.

* Follow up, consolidate, and maintain the Global Account project pipeline using standard reporting formats, ensuring accuracy and visibility of opportunities.

* Define, negotiate, and implement global and local frame agreements. Manage tenders, pricing policies, and commercial terms, coordinating closely with the Legal department to manage liabilities, ethics, and compliance.

* Promote new offers and solutions across all relevant Business Lines, contributing to turnover growth of new products and overall portfolio sales.

* Optimise time management and ensure effective communication through qualitative and quantitative reporting, including annual visit planning, internal reports, and participation in internal coordination meetings.

Education & Background Required

* Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent

* Business Development or Sales Engineering background with successful Key Account experience/Technical Knowledge

* Strong empathy and networking capability

* Project Management experience

* International exposure

* Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
