Health and Safety Manager (18 Month FTC)\n Wembley | £70,000 + Excellent Benefits\n\nIrwin and Colton have been engaged by a Principal Contractor who are seeking a Health and Safety Managers to oversee a major Data Centre project in Wembley. This role is overseeing a major Principal Contractor operation, so experience working with or interacting with Tier 1 contractors or clients is highly desirable.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRegularly visiting the site, advising operational managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Health and Safety strategy.\nConducting site audits to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.\nPreparing and presenting HSE reports to the senior management team.\nLeading accident investigations and incident reporting, including root cause analysis.\nReviewing existing and new systems of work, identifying potential flaws or training needs to enhance the on-site safety culture.Requirements:\n\nProven experience in a similar role within construction, M&E, or Data Centre sectors.\nA NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma, NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent), and ideally, Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).\nExcellent communication skills, with demonstrated success in engaging with clients and contractors.\nStrong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations.The Ideal Candidate:\n\nWe're looking for a self-starter who can lead by example and make an immediate impact.
